About NaviRex
NaviRex India Private Limited develops and operates monitoring, reporting and verification infrastructure that enables distributed energy and climate assets to participate in the Indian carbon market under the national Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS). Our model consolidates fragmented assets like smallholder land and distributed energy installations into unified, digitally monitored programmes through the NaviTrace platform.
NaviRex is an early-stage, regulation-first venture built on technical and compliance depth. This role sits at the front line of the company's engagement with partners, institutions, and the wider market.
Role Summary
This is the primary external-facing role—a relationship, representation, and coordination role. The position covers stakeholder engagement, partner and developer onboarding, business development, and coordination of third-party validation and verification logistics. Senior institutional engagements are conducted with founder support.
The role does not involve technical greenhouse-gas quantification, software development, or field data collection; those responsibilities remain with the technical function.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with programme partners and institutional stakeholders including, but not limited to, distribution utilities, local authorities, and enrolled landowners.
- Support the formal stakeholder consultation process, document comments, and coordinate with the technical team on how feedback is addressed. Consultation ownership scales with experience.
- Conduct field visits to meet partners and asset owners directly for relationship-building and enrolment.
Business Development
- Present NaviRex's programmes to prospective partners, institutional asset owners, corporate sustainability partners, and participants in the Indian carbon market.
- Identify and develop new partnership and expansion opportunities across both the AR and distributed energy verticals.
- Represent NaviRex at relevant industry and sector forums, and build the company's professional network.
Requirements
- 1–5 years in business development, partnerships, operations, or stakeholder relations—ideally in renewable energy, agriculture, rural development, infrastructure, or a related sector.
- Willingness to travel across Kerala, including to rural, farm, and project locations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging with landowners and institutional partners alike, and representing the company to senior government and institutional stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent relationships and priorities independently, with reliable follow-through.
- Working knowledge of Malayalam and English; familiarity with the Kerala market strongly preferred.
- A professional interest in climate, renewable energy, or environmental markets, with the capacity to become fluent in the sector.
Nice to have
A startup mentality—comfortable with ambiguity and shifting scope, willing to pick up work outside a strict job description, and motivated by building something early rather than following an established playbook.
What NaviRex Offers
- A ground-floor role in a regulation-first venture with genuine technical and compliance depth.
- Direct mentorship from the founder and exposure to a cross-border climate-technology company.
- A clear path to senior business development or operations responsibility as the company scales.
Compensation
Competitive, commensurate with experience. Details discussed at offer stage.
